We are seeking a motivated and experienced Contract Manager to lead the Adult Skills Fund and wider Employment & Skills commissioning activity across Brighton & Hove. This is a key role within the Employment & Skills Team, ensuring high‑quality delivery of skills provision that supports residents to gain the training and opportunities they need to progress.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the council’s contract lead for the Adult Skills Funding, overseeing provider performance, quality assurance, compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with colleges, independent training providers and internal colleagues, ensuring commissioned activity aligns to local priorities and delivers value for money.
