Job description
We’re looking for a member of a friendly team who enjoys working across different locations to join our permanent public toilet cleansing team.
The role involves driving between sites, maintaining cleanliness and supplies of public toilets, and reporting any issues or maintenance required.
Shift pattern: 4 days on, 4 days off, Saturdays on 8:00 am for 8:30 pm (summer) with an unpaid hour break, and 8:00 am to 6:00 pm (winter) with an unpaid hour break.
You will also be required to work a 5th working day every 5 weekends between October and April.

Responsibilities
- Cleaning sinks and surrounding areas including walls and mirrors.
- Cleaning toilet pans and seats.
- Removing graffiti.
- Sweeping and washing the floors.
- Emptying bins.
- Removing drug paraphernalia safely.
- Replenishing toilet paper and soap.
- Reporting damaged cleaning equipment.
- Reporting maintenance issues such as broken locks and dispensers.
- Driving between sites to open, clean, and close facilities, and working on the seafront depending on staffing levels.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Current valid UK driving licence.
- Ability to be on your feet all day.
- Self‑motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Hard‑working, reliable and responsible.
- Good interpersonal skills, able to interact with members of the public.
