About the Role
This role is to teach Science and Maths in the Year 11 provision at The Connected Hub and as a key member of our TCH team, you’ll deliver elements of the Biology and Maths GCSE as part of a creative, relevant, and highly personalised curriculum that meets the diverse needs of learners. You’ll work in a supportive and collaborative environment, alongside teaching assistants, leadership, and external professionals.

Responsibilities
- Work with small groups of year 11 students who have struggled to learn in the mainstream environment and need a nurturing approach to engage and achieve
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging, differentiated lessons
- Provide a safe, supportive classroom environment rooted in understanding and consistency
- Support students’ academic progress, wellbeing, and personal growth
- Work collaboratively with families, colleagues, and external professionals
- Embed key skills across the curriculum, including literacy, numeracy, ICT, PSHE, and citizenship
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture
Qualifications
- Experience of teaching Science and/or Maths is essential
