Location: Brackenbury Primary School, Locks Hill, Portslade, BN41 2LA.

Job Type: Administration, Part Time (term‑time only).

Contract Hours: 21 hours per week, 11:40 am – 4:00 pm Monday to Friday.

Pay: £26,403 – £26,824 pro rata (approximately £14.13 – £14.35 per hour). Paid 47 weeks per year (inclusive of holiday entitlement).

Start date: September 2026.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

  • Have experience of working in a busy environment and be able to work in a calm, friendly and professional manner.
  • Handle all information with the highest level of professional discretion, following GDPR and safeguarding protocols.
  • Have good IT skills and a good knowledge of relevant ICT packages such as Word and Excel.
  • Be a good communicator with strong literacy skills and attention to detail.
  • Be open to improving your practice through training and development opportunities.
  • Recognise the importance of establishing positive relationships with children and staff but maintain confidential professional boundaries.
  • Be part of a strong team who is flexible and willing to adapt to on‑day demands.

Additional requirements: The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check. All posts are subject to an enhanced DBS check.
