Location: Hove Town Hall, Norton Road, Hove, BN3 3BQ; Salary: £52,413 – £56,400; Basis: Flexi Hours; Contractual hours: 37.
Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and committed Public Health Specialist to lead our city’s suicide prevention and public mental health programmes. You will promote and implement the Brighton & Hove Suicide Prevention Action Plan 2024–2027, delivering evidence‑based actions and supporting a broader programme to improve population wellbeing. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will strengthen local partnerships and coordinate prevention, early intervention and population‑wide approaches.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver actions from the Suicide Prevention Strategy and broader public mental health programme.
- Lead and support multidisciplinary teams, strengthening partnerships and coordinated approaches.
- Contribute to development and delivery of evidence‑based actions for suicide prevention and public mental health wellbeing.
