Brunswick Primary School is a thriving primary school located in Hove. It is currently collaborating with Hove Learning Federation which is comprised of three sites made up of the family of schools of West Hove Infant and Hove Junior School. Our staff team, governors, and parents and carers are all committed to building on the achievements while addressing areas for challenge and improvement.

Part-time: 34 hours per week
Paid weeks per year: 47.36 (inclusive of holiday entitlement)
Start date: 1 September 2026

About the Role
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, organised and friendly individual to join our Office team. The candidate will:

  • Possess excellent communication skills to build positive relationships with pupils, parents/carers, staff and visitors to the school
  • Be able to work in a busy reception/office, whilst also completing a variety of admin tasks and working to deadlines
  • Be organised and able to manage their time efficiently, working as part of a team and using their own initiative
  • Have experience of working in a fast-paced environment and be able to work in a calm and professional manner at all times
  • Be responsible for overseeing monitoring and evaluating pupil attendance
  • Have strong IT skills
  • Be flexible to the demands of the role
  • Be prepared to undertake first aid training and any other relevant training
  • Be able to maintain confidentiality and sensitivity
  • Have a positive attitude and sense of humour
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision making
  • Management of risk assessments and compliance
  • Management of Health and Safety processes and compliance
  • Oversee Premises Management with The School Business Manager
  • Previous experience in a school setting would be an advantage but is not essential.
