Help shape the future of bus travel in Brighton and Hove. We are seeking a motivated and organised Project Officer to join the Public Transport team and support the delivery of improvements to bus services across the city. This is an opportunity to contribute to a mix of established and emerging priorities, helping to deliver projects that benefit residents, visitors and the environment.

About the role:

  • Contribute to and run projects across a range of workstreams, from early planning through to implementation and review.
  • Plan, coordinate and monitor project activity, ensuring progress is tracked and outcomes are achieved.
  • Collect, manage and analyse data to monitor performance and to support reporting and decision making.
  • Provide expert, well-informed advice to decision makers and colleagues, taking into account the wider organisational and policy context.
  • Work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders, including colleagues, bus operators and external partners, building effective working relationships to support delivery.
  • Undertake business as usual activities, responding flexibly to changing priorities and emerging work.
  • Manage workload effectively and use initiative to move projects forward.
