About the Role:

Goldstone Primary and Nursery is a three-form entry school in Hove. We are seeking to appoint a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant to join our team from September 2026.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake specified timetabled covering of teaching duties, as agreed with SLT, on a planned and ad-hoc basis.
  • Be flexible, resilient, and able to work collaboratively and independently to plan lessons for PPA and management cover, teaching across the whole school.
  • Work positively and collaboratively with the staff team, pupils and parents across our community.
  • Attend weekly teachers’ meetings.
