Job Description

Individual Needs Assistant (Level A/B) Supporting a child who has Neurodiverse needs and Social Communication difficulties.

Hours: 5 days per week, 8:50am – 11:30am, 12:30 – 3:10pm (term time only).

Fixed term: 1 year.

Start date: September 2026.

About the Role

• Have previous experience of supporting a child with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
• Be a flexible and caring professional.
• Be committed to providing the highest possible quality provision for all our children.
• Be committed to in-house and external specialist training to support a child with SEND.
• Build positive relationships with children, their parents/carers and those they work closely with.
• Be suitably qualified for the post, i.e., have good literacy and numeracy skills to GCSE level or higher.
• Have an optimistic and positive attitude and be flexible to the demands of the job.
• Be able to work as part of a team.
• Have the ability to maintain confidentiality.
