Guidant Global is a leading recruitment partner for local councils. On behalf of our client, we are looking for domestic cleaners.
You will be required to work in residential homes, day care services, short-term respite facilities, and hostels that provide care for the elderly, infirm, individuals with physical disabilities, and younger people with long-term medical conditions. These services foster a strong community feel.
If you are a compassionate, positive person who isn\’t afraid to work hard, then this is the job for you. As a domestic support worker, you will assist community members who need extra help.
We expect you to be polite and a good communicator.
The role of the housekeeper is to maintain the cleanliness of the care home or hostel to a high standard. This includes cleaning all communal areas, residents\’ individual bedrooms, and bathrooms.
The applicant must be able to work independently and be physically fit to carry cleaning supplies up and down stairs. You should use cleaning products and equipment safely and effectively.
As part of a dedicated team, you will help provide a safe, hygienic, and comfortable environment for residents and staff.
