Role: Player Education Lead (Women's & Girls)

Hours: 35 hours per week, 5 days out of 7, including evenings and weekends

Location: American Express Elite Football Performance Centre, Lancing

Contract Type: Permanent

Responsibilities:

  • Support our players on and off the pitch
  • Design, implement, and evaluate the educational careers and lifestyle curriculum for Girls Academy players
  • Lead the full delivery of the BTEC Level 2/3 Extended Diploma in Sport and BTEC National qualifications to eligible students
  • Monitor player grades and academic progress, providing comprehensive educational reports to relevant Girls Academy staff
  • Be flexible with working on bank holidays and travel as needed to meet the demands of the role
  • Respond to emergency situations, whether they occur during the day or at night

Your background:

  • Teaching experience within key stage 4 and 5
  • Demonstrable experience of being an active champion of a safeguarding culture
  • A strong understanding of the developmental, emotional, social, and educational issues of children and young people
  • QTS qualified and BTEC Level 3 Teacher qualified
