Overview

We are seeking an innovative, effective, and inspirational full- or part-time Teacher of Science to join our demonstrably successful Science Team on a one-year fixed-term maternity cover contract, commencing in April 2026 or September 2026. This is an opportunity to contribute to a thriving department committed to excellence in science education. A recruitment allowance may be considered for an appropriately experienced candidate who brings the right skills and attributes to the role. Brighton Hill Community School has been rated as \’Good\’ by Ofsted in our last inspection. We are an 11-16 Community School with over 1200 students. You will teach across Biology, Chemistry & Physics at both KS3 and KS4, to a range of abilities, to make a significant positive contribution to the school vision.
