We are seeking an ambitious, highly driven Cluster Director of Sales to lead the commercial growth of our two distinctive Sussex based hotels located in Brighton and Chichester. This is a hands‑on, proactive sales leadership role focused on generating new business, building strong local market presence, and developing strategic corporate relationships across the wider group portfolio. The successful candidate will be a visible ambassador for both hotels, embedding themselves within the local business communities while simultaneously managing and growing key corporate accounts, agency partnerships, and group‑wide commercial opportunities. This is not a desk‑based sales role; we are looking for someone who thrives on networking, prospecting, relationship building, and creating revenue opportunities through direct engagement.

Working closely with both General Managers and the respective sales teams, the Cluster Director will develop and execute sales and marketing plans that support the overall objectives of both properties, foster a positive sales culture built around collaboration, continuous improvement and commercial excellence, identify and nurture emerging sales talent, and develop high levels of performance, accountability and engagement across both hotels and sales teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the commercial growth and sales initiatives for Brighton and Chichester hotels.
  • Represent both hotels in local business communities, manage corporate accounts and agency partnerships, and pursue group‑wide commercial opportunities.
  • Develop and execute sales and marketing plans in partnership with General Managers and sales teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Create a positive sales culture that emphasizes collaboration, continuous improvement, commercial excellence, and high performance.
  • Identify, nurture, and develop emerging sales talent to sustain growth and engagement.
