Casual hourly rate of £13.57. Candidates must have good weekend and evening availability and be able to attend training on the evening of Jan 13.
Role
Assist the Front of House team at Brighton Dome and Brighton Festival as Assistant Duty Event Manager during events at Brighton Dome venues.
Responsibilities
- Support and deputise for the Duty Event Manager to deliver safe, successful events and exceptional customer service.
- Lead and mentor the team of stewards, security and volunteers during shifts, ensuring they are prepared and supported.
- Ensure FOH areas are set up correctly, liaise with other teams, and support staff to maximise sales of ice cream and ancillary services.
- Carry out required training to prevent and respond to emergencies, maintaining the safety and security of audiences and staff.
- Act as senior FOH staff on duty and, where necessary, allocate a stewarding position.
Qualifications
- Experience supervising or managing teams, or demonstrable skills in these areas.
- Calm, positive, friendly and diligent, with enthusiasm for audience engagement.
- Availability for variable shifts with emphasis on weekend and evening work.
