About the role:
As the Admissions Compliance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations of various aspects of UKVI compliance and CMA compliance during the application stages. Working across the Admissions team, you will endeavour to embed a compliance first mindset. You will provide training and briefing sessions for admissions colleagues, academics, agents and applicants. Prior to each intake, you will lead a small project team to ensure the accurate and timely issuance of CAS, responding to applicant queries and referring more intricate cases to the immigration advisors as agreed. At the end of each CAS Issuance period, you will actively assess our performance, identifying future improvements to implement and training needs to be addressed. You will liaise with faculties to ensure the timely communication of course changes to applicants and keep accurate records on when changes were communicated via Admissions.
About you:
Ideally, you will have in-depth experience of leading and/or managing CAS processes, including undertaking finance checks and pre-CAS checklists. You will have a commitment to enhancing the applicant journey for international students and an awareness of best practice guidelines and legislation which impact communication regarding university course provision.
Additional Information:
This role may be eligible for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route. The assigned SOC code is 2322: Education Managers and the going rate is £43,900. Eligibility for sponsorship will depend on the salary offered, whether a candidate can make use of tradeable points to meet the salary offered or whether the candidate holds an existing Skilled Worker sponsorship which began before 4 April 2024. The University requires that work undertaken for the University is performed in the UK.
