Role: Lead Youth Development Phase Coach (U13 – U14)

Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week, to include evenings and weekends

Location: American Express Elite Football Performance Centre, Lancing

Contract Type: Permanent

Lead our U13-U14 groups at our category 1 boy\’s academy

This role will coach and develop elite players primarily in the U13-U14 age group to support the transition from the Foundation Phase into the Youth Development Phase (9v9 to 11v11) and ultimately help to prepare them for elite professional football at the highest level. You will be a part of leading a positive and growth-oriented culture, both for the players and the coaching staff, while delivering age-appropriate training. Additionally, the position will ensure each player within the U13-U14 age group has an individual development plan that drives their programme.

Your coaching background

We are looking for a creative and engaging coach, with excellent interpersonal skills. You will have extensive knowledge and experience of the football industry and the professional game in a similar or related role, with an understanding of audit processes.

The successful candidate will hold the following qualifications:

– UEFA ‘A\’ Coaching Licence

– FA Advanced Licence Youth Award (YDP Phase)

– FA Emergency Aid Certificate

– FA Safeguarding certificate
