Bright Solicitors is a modern and forward-thinking firm committed to providing a high level of service to its expanding client base within the southwest of England. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Legal Cashier to join our Accounts team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial transactions and accounts within our business, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:- Handle a large volume of day-to-day financial transactions, including client account management, bank reconciliations, and processing payments.
- Ensure all financial activities comply with Solicitors Accounts Rules and other relevant regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, invoices, and receipts.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Liaise with stakeholders regarding financial matters.
- Strong numerical, analytical and organisation skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting software.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to liaise effectively with colleagues and external parties, and a high level of integrity.
- Proven experience as a Legal Cashier or in a similar role within a legal environment.
- Familiarity with Solicitors Accounts Rules and other relevant regulations.
