Your new role as the Payroll Onboarding Team Leader will see you lead, manage, and own the onboarding processes and projects for our payroll customers. You will take on the responsibility of ensuring our payroll customers have a smooth journey when going live with BrightHR Payroll, alongside managing your team, and leading them to success.
We are looking for someone who has a strong background in Client Onboarding, ideally with previous exposure to Payroll, or other Finance related products and services. Your main duties will include, but are not limited to:
- To oversee, manage and lead your team, conducting 1:1s and performance reviews when required.
- To plan and execute seamless project plans for payroll implementations, always staying within budget and delivering the highest level of customer service.
- To manage a portfolio of projects at the same time, organising your own and your teams time and calendars appropriately.
- To educate and guide the customer on both service and system features, remaining clear and concise.
- Ensuring that the BrightHR Payroll SLA’s and OLA’s are always adhered to.
- Setting Key Performance Indicators for your service and your team, ensuring they are always met.
- To always maintain customer confidentiality and ensure GDPR compliance throughout.
- To own and maintain all Local Work Instructions with the most up to date process maps relevant to all Onboarding Tasks.
- To maintain BrightHR’s Customer Relationship Management systems to accurately reflect all key contacts, products and services, as per the agreed contracts.
- Arrange all client onboard sessions for their specific team in a timely fashion, in line with their HR onboard.
- Effectively manage absence within the team and pro-actively re-allocate calls in a timely manner with minimal impact to clients.
- Manage productivity metrics for your team on a daily basis and report on the daily scorecard by 10am each day.
- Manage all staff monthly 121’s giving direction and giving on the job training to staff as appropriate.
- Arrange timely induction plans to successfully onboard new team members.
- Reporting trends and team functionality.
- Ensure go live targets by individual are met – 16-20 onboards to live per month. Re-balancing workload allocations as appropriate.
You should be capable of meeting the following criteria:
- Strong people management skills, proven through experience in similar roles. You can evidence delivering a collaborative working environment with your Team, delivering accurate and timely delivery of all Onboarding transactional activity.
- Previous customer onboarding experience within a Payroll or Finance related role (desirable).
- An awareness of UK payroll legislation and tax regulations (desirable).
- Previous experience in SaaS platforms and, ideally, an awareness of HR and Payroll systems and how they work (desirable).
- Strong project management skills and the ability to drive transactional activity forward to meet key deadlines.
- Regular succinct and timely collation and reporting of Team dashboards, including key successes and areas for improvement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven experience in building and maintaining positive and engaging client relationships.
- The ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- The ability to become a brand ambassador for BrightHR, and its sister companies.
