We are currently seeking experienced and flexible HGV Class 1 Drivers for a unique and vital role as a Field Technician (Emergency Water Tanker Operative) on behalf of our valued client. This is an ongoing role with a chance of going permanent!
The Role: You'll play a critical role in providing safe, drinkable water where piped supplies are unavailable – supporting water utility companies during supply interruptions and serving commercial sectors such as construction, events, petrochemical, and more. This is a 24/7/365 emergency response operation, so flexibility and commitment are essential.
Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off (including days, nights, weekends) Regular nights out – may be a few or all nights per shift pattern. Full training and shadowing provided.
Requirements:
- C+E Licence, Digital Tacho Card, and Driver CPC
- Must be over 23 (insurance requirement)
- Max 6 points – no DD, DR, or IN convictions
- Willingness to work independently after training
- Good understanding of safety and hygiene – the water you deliver is for human consumption
