Brighthire Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join a leading waste and environmental services operation in Essex. This is an ongoing opportunity involving the transportation of Roll-On/Roll-Off (RoRo) containers between waste facilities and disposal sites across the county.
- Operate a Class 1 vehicle
- Collect, transport and tip RoRo containers
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
- Complete tachograph records and transport paperwork
- Ensure loads are secured safely and transported in compliance with regulations
- Work closely with site managers and operational teams
- Assist with container movements on-site when required
- Follow all health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- Driver CPC Qualification
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Good understanding of driver regulations and transport legislation
- Previous HGV Class 1 driving experience
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Flexible approach to working hours
