Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of major development projects from inception to completion, ensuring homes are delivered on time, to budget, and to the highest quality.
- Take day‑to‑day responsibility for the Luckwell Road project, working closely with contractors, Clerk of Works, internal teams and external partners.
- Manage contracts, budgets, risks and reporting, ensuring compliance with BP requirements, building regulations, CDM and Homes England standards.
- Provide technical expertise, respond to design or specification changes, and oversee feasibility assessments, appraisals and procurement.
- Build strong, productive relationships with contractors, design teams, colleagues, and community stakeholders.
- Provide leadership and coaching to a Project Manager, supporting their growth and professional development.
- Contribute to continuous improvement across systems, processes and team performance.
- Ensure all schemes deliver our strategic vision, including achieving EPC B standards.
What We’re Looking For
- You’ll bring a relevant degree or professional qualification (e.g. RICS, RTPI, CIOH, RIBA, CIOB) along with proven experience delivering housing development projects from start to finish.
- You should have a strong understanding of construction, planning and design, with the ability to manage contractors, suppliers and multiple complex projects at once.
- Clear, confident communication and excellent stakeholder engagement are essential, as are strong budgeting, forecasting and problem‑solving skills.
- A collaborative, coaching approach is important, and you’ll need a full UK driving licence and the ability to travel.
- Experience with Homes England funding, sustainability standards, or viability tools (such as Proval LS) would be beneficial.
