Are you interested in a career in marketing and communications? Whether you're studying at college, university, or just starting out — this could be a great first step. This is an unpaid internship opportunity, designed to help you build experience and develop practical skills in a real working environment. We’re looking for a confident, creative Communications and Marketing Intern to join our team and gain hands‑on experience across real projects that make a difference.

Closing date: 8th July 2026

Preferably 3 months, but we’re flexible. We welcome applicants who can commit to a minimum of 3 days per week. We’ll also consider shorter placements (e.g. minimum 8 weeks) and flexible working patterns for the right candidate. Applicants must be aged 17+.

About us: Brighter Places is Bristol’s largest independent housing association, managing over 3,300 homes and supporting more than 8,000 people. We provide safe, affordable housing while helping our customers thrive.

The role: You’ll support our Communications team with day-to-day activity, from creating content to supporting campaigns and digital channels. You’ll gain valuable experience, build your confidence, and see how communications works in a purpose-led organisation.
