We are looking for a compassionate, reliable Care Assistant to join our domiciliary care team on a part-time basis (20 hours per week), or full time. You will support people in their own homes to live safely and independently, while promoting dignity, respect, and choice. Full training is provided.
Key responsibilities:
- Support with personal care (washing, dressing, continence care)
- Help with meal preparation, hydration and light household tasks
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Follow individual care plans and report any changes in wellbeing
- Keep accurate care notes/records (basic IT use)
- Support with shopping, outings and appointments when required
- Work safely and follow health & safety / infection prevention guidance
Experience & requirements:
- Experience in care is desirable (but not essential; training provided)
- Full UK driving licence required
- Confident communicating in spoken and written English
- Able to follow care plans and work professionally in clients' homes
- Basic IT skills for recording notes (preferred)
- You must have the right to work in the UK. We do not offer visa sponsorship for this role.
