A market-leading precision engineering and metal stamping specialist is seeking a Group Business Development Manager to drive growth across Europe. With modern manufacturing facilities in the UK and Central Europe, over €40m in revenue, and a 75-year history, the company provides high-volume, high-reliability components to global OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers in the e-Mobility, Medical Devices, and Industrial Technology sectors.
Salary: £60,000 + Bonus + Car Allowance + Benefits
Responsibilities:
- Driving new business and converting strategic opportunities into long-term partnerships.
- Leading customer engagement from first contact to contract signing.
- Building sector-focused campaigns in collaboration with the marketing team.
- Negotiating commercial agreements and managing key accounts.
- Monitoring competitor activity and market trends to help shape the growth strategy.
You will act as the bridge between market demand, engineering capability, and commercial strategy, with the autonomy to make an impact and the support of a well-invested, international manufacturer.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: 5-7+ years in business development or sales, ideally in the pressing, stamping, or related manufacturing sectors.
- Education: A Degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering (minimum).
- Track Record: Proven ability to win complex technical new business.
- Skills: Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Technical: Proficiency with CRM systems (HubSpot preferred).
- Additional Experience: Experience in cross-border sales and a knowledge of ISO 13485 and DFM principles would be beneficial.
