Interim Head of Quality / Quality Manager

West Yorkshire – 6 months – Outside IR35 – Engineering / Manufacturing – Onsite Role

We are supporting a well-established, fast-growing engineering and manufacturing business that is looking to appoint an Interim Head of Quality / Quality Manager.

This is a hands-on, on-site interim role focused on resetting and strengthening quality across the business, driving the change required to instil quality at a cultural level across the organisation. The brief is not to add bureaucracy, but to improve consistency, ownership and day-to-day quality discipline on the shop floor and through the wider organisation.

Key focus areas:

• Review and stabilise current quality systems and ways of working
• Reduce recurring quality issues and “right first time” failures
• Improve visibility and ownership of quality at all levels
• Assess the structure and capability of the existing quality function
• Lay the groundwork for a sustainable long-term quality model

Ideal background:

• Proven interim experience in manufacturing or engineered environments
• Comfortable operating on-site and influencing at senior and shop-floor level
• Pragmatic, delivery-focused and culturally aware
