Initial salary of £30k - £35k on a six month Fixed Term Perm contract. Primarily working from home, but with some visits to our offices in Albert Square, Manchester expected.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop llm based applications using langchain and OpenAI technologies.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following the SOLID principles.
  • Develop robust APIs using FastAPI to support application features and functionalities.
  • Engage in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to enhance code quality.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to contribute innovative ideas for product development and improvement.
  • Utilise your knowledge of JavaScript to build seamless integrations with front-end technologies.
  • Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies to improve your skill set and the team’s productivity.

Qualifications

  • Recent graduate with a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Python.
  • Understanding of backend development, including databases, APIs, and web frameworks (such as fastapi and postgres).
  • Familiarity with langchain and OpenAI, with hands-on experience in developing applications utilising LLM technologies.
  • Understanding of SOLID principles and best practises in software development.
  • Knowledge of JavaScript and its frameworks would be a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for coding.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with a mission-driven mindset.
