We are looking for a talented and driven Pre Sales Product Technician to join our new Pre Sales team. Ideally the person should have domain experience i.e., understand payroll and legislative requirements and products used in accountancy practices. In this role, you will act as the critical bridge between our Sales and Product teams, working closely with prospective clients to understand their business needs, challenges and demonstrating how our solution delivers measurable value. You will play a key role in the sales cycle — from discovery through to proposal and close — helping to shape deals and win new business. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong SaaS background who thrives in a consultative, client‑facing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Sales team to qualify opportunities and lead technical and functional discovery sessions with prospective clients.
  • Deliver compelling, tailored product demonstrations that address specific customer pain points and business requirements.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on our Bright Product Suite.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of competitor products and market trends to effectively position our solution.
  • Collaborate with Product and Customer Success teams to relay customer feedback and influence the product roadmap.
  • Support the handover process to the Implementation and Customer Success teams' post‑sale to ensure a seamless client experience.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of presales materials, demo environments, and internal playbooks.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • 3+ years of experience in accountancy SaaS environment.
  • Demonstrable experience in one or more of the following verticals: Payroll, Practice Management or Compliance (Tax, Accounts Production, etc).
  • Experience with Bright’s product suite is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.
  • A consultative, solution‑oriented mindset with excellent listening and discovery skills.
