Key Responsibilities
- Set sales strategy and manage achievement of team sales targets and key business goals.
- Execute sales plans in line with brand guidelines and company objectives.
- Manage team pipeline, forecasting and reporting to the General Manager.
- Drive sales performance and revenue growth through effective account management.
- Work with the Marketing team on campaign execution and lead generation activities.
- Monitor sales performance metrics and take corrective action to ensure targets are met.
- Build and maintain strong client and internal relationships to ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Represent the company positively and supportively at all times.
- Coach and develop team members to reach potential and build a strong succession pipeline.
- Lead, manage, support and develop the sales team; recruit, train and mentor staff.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, one‑to‑one meetings and appraisals; drive a positive high‑performance culture.
- Identify skill gaps and provide coaching.
- Manage key client accounts, develop relationships and build market share.
- Provide weekly pipeline reports and accurate forecasts to the General Manager.
- Deliver persuasive sales presentations to prospective clients and champion best practices.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Work with Marketing to identify revenue opportunities, support activities, manage leads, and provide feedback.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Manage CRM system and ensure best practices, monitor, report and analyse key sales metrics and KPIs, identify trends and improvements.
- Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activity; share market insights with senior leadership.
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience in a Sales Manager role and B2B sales.
- Strong CRM system knowledge and ability to manage sales targets.
- Skilled in data analysis and accurate reporting.
- Excellent presentation, communication and negotiation skills.
- Highly organized with strong planning abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint essential).
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
