Barnkids Nursery in Godalming is looking for an inspiring, experienced Nursery Manager to lead our dedicated team and continue delivering outstanding early years care and education. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate early years professional who thrives in a leadership role, values high-quality practice, and is committed to giving every child the very best start in life.
The Role
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of early years professionals
- Ensure the nursery meets and exceeds all EYFS and Ofsted requirements
- Create a warm, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children
- Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and external professionals
- Oversee day-to-day operations including staffing, safeguarding, and quality assurance
- Drive continuous improvement and uphold Barnkids’ values and standards
About You
- A minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification (Level 5 or above desirable)
- Proven experience in a nursery management or deputy management role
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
- Sound knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted frameworks
- A genuine passion for early childhood development
