Bright Star Talent is recruiting a Maths Teacher for a long term supply role at a secondary school in Burton upon Trent. We are looking for a Maths Teacher with experience teaching Mathematics across KS3, KS4 and KS5, including supporting pupils with GCSE and A level exam preparation. Essential requirements: You must hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification, and an enhanced DBS processed within the last 12 months. The role: * Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons to secondary pupils. * Develop pupils’ mathematical understanding, problem solving skills and confidence. * Support pupils with GCSE and A level exam preparation. * Assess progress and provide clear, constructive feedback. * Adapt lessons to meet a range of abilities and learning needs. * Maintain positive classroom behaviour. * Work with the Maths department to provide continuity throughout the placement. We are looking for: * QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. * An enhanced DBS processed within the last 12 months. * Strong Maths subject knowledge and experience teaching across KS3, KS4 and KS5. * Confident classroom management and an inclusive teaching approach. * Availability to commit to a long term placement. * Ability to travel to Burton upon Trent.
