Join Bright Star Talent – Make a Lasting Difference Bright Star Talent is recruiting on behalf of a specialist SEN school for autistic children and young people aged 11 to 19.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Instructor with a recognised Education degree who is passionate about supporting young people with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) to achieve their full potential.

The Role As an SEN Instructor, you will
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons and learning activities.
- Support autistic students with a range of learning, communication and sensory needs.
- Adapt teaching approaches to meet individual Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) outcomes.
- Foster independence, confidence and positive behaviour.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists and support staff.
- Assess, monitor and record student progress.
- Promote students' social, emotional and personal development.
- Create a safe, structured and inclusive learning environment.
- Encourage students to develop essential life skills and prepare for adulthood. Essential Requirements
- A recognised Education degree (essential).
- Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting.
- A passion for supporting students with Special Educational Needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, resilience and a positive attitude.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Knowledge or experience of Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) is desirable.
