Working directly with the owner and founder of the business, this key appointment will assume full ownership of online performance and day-to-day operations, while playing a key role in shaping the wider business strategy. Situated in a semi-rural location, in the heart of Essex, this is the ideal opportunity for someone who thrives on crafting business strategy, making decisions, and taking responsibility.
You’ll be accountable for driving e-commerce revenue, profitability, customer lifetime value, and the overall performance of the business. You won’t just execute strategy; you’ll define it, working closely with the owner to set direction and turn robust business plans into exciting results.
What you’ll be doing:
- Owning and driving e-commerce growth, revenue, and margin
- Contributing to and shaping business strategy and commercial direction

- Leading, motivating, and performance-managing a team of six
- Improving systems, processes, and customer experience to support sustainable growth
Who this role is for:
You’re commercially minded, data-driven, and confident making decisions. You have a strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, analytics, and CRM systems, PLUS you’ve previously led a team, holding people accountable for their results. You’re hands-on, an instinctive people manager, comfortable in a fast-moving environment, and motivated by building and scaling an online business, not just maintaining it.
What’s in it for YOU?
- A senior leadership role with real ownership and influence
- Direct input into business strategy and long-term direction
- An owner-led environment where decisions are made quickly
- The opportunity to lead, scale, and leave your mark on a growing DTC business
