Working directly with the owner and founder of the business, this key appointment will assume full ownership of online performance and day-to-day operations, while playing a key role in shaping the wider business strategy.

Situated in a semi-rural location, in the heart of Essex, this is the ideal opportunity for someone who thrives on crafting business strategy, making decisions, and taking responsibility. You’ll be accountable for driving e-commerce revenue, profitability, customer lifetime value, and the overall performance of the business.

You won’t just execute strategy; you’ll define it, working closely with the owner to set direction and turn robust business plans into exciting results.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Owning and driving e-commerce growth, revenue, and margin
  • Contributing to and shaping business strategy and commercial direction
  • Increasing repeat purchase, retention, and customer lifetime value
  • Leading all performance marketing activity with a clear focus on ROI
  • Managing paid media across platforms such as Meta, Google, Bing, YouTube, and TikTok
  • Identifying, testing, and scaling new acquisition channels
  • Leading, motivating, and performance-managing a team of six
  • Improving systems, processes, and customer experience to support sustainable growth

Who this role is for:

You’re commercially minded, data-driven, and confident making decisions. You have a strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, analytics, and CRM systems, PLUS you’ve previously led a team, holding people accountable for their results. You’re hands-on, an instinctive people manager, comfortable in a fast-moving environment, and motivated by building and scaling an online business… not just maintaining it.

What’s in it for YOU?

  • A senior leadership role with real ownership and influence
  • Direct input into business strategy and long-term direction
  • An owner-led environment where decisions are made quickly
  • The opportunity to lead, scale, and leave your mark on a growing DTC business
  • A rewarding benefits package to be discussed at interview

If you’re ready to step into a role where your ideas shape the strategy and your results drive the business forward, we’d love to hear from you. All enquiries will be treated in the strictest of confidence.
