We are assisting a highly regarded and well-established construction company based in West Wickham, Kent. Due to continued growth, they seek a driven and creative person to join them as an Office Administrator. This company has an unrivalled reputation for delivering high quality residential and commercial build and renovation projects. They seek an individual whose professional qualities echo their own high expectations.
As Office Administrator, you will be working closely with the Managing Director and be the first point of contact for all incoming calls and enquiries. Preferably, you will already have some previous construction related knowledge and experience gained from within a similar environment. The ideal candidate should possess an interest in construction, be computer literate, and possess strong customer service skills. Plus, if you’re a whizz with social media – that would be brilliant!
The Office Administrator opportunity is offered on a full time, permanent basis with the working hours of 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
Core responsibilities:- 1st point of contact for all in person visitors, and incoming phone calls
- Composing and sending high class business related emails to all stakeholders
- Managing, maintaining, and contributing material to social media sites (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook)
- Updating and improving existing Excel spreadsheets
- Making and scheduling appointments
- Extensive diary management
- Liaising with customers, suppliers, site supervisors, and associated external professionals
- Maintaining accurate and detailed records for each project
- General office related duties
- Excellent IT skills – Word, Excel, Outlook
- Confident with generating and uploading material to social media (Insta, TikTok, etc)
- Taking solid, concise details from potential customer’s initial enquiries
- Possess an excellent and professional telephone manner
- Confidence with arranging appointments for the MD
- Proven problem solving skills
- A brilliant sense of humour, and a positive energy
