Bright Side Recruitment Ltd is delighted to have been invited to take applications from Improving Electricians who are disillusioned with their existing role. This established, respected, and APPROVED Electrical Contractor based in the Sevenoaks area is looking to add depth to their team and has a rare opportunity to bring on a confident, ambitious Electrical Improver who is serious about progressing within the trade.
The successful candidate will naturally be expected to work to a high standard whilst supporting more experienced and qualified Electricians on various commercial and domestic projects around the South East London and Kent regions. On occasion, the successful applicant will also have opportunities to complete solo projects.
The typical and expected duties are:
- To assist in undertaking the installation, remedial and fault-finding works covering Domestic and Commercial electrical systems
- Conduct routine maintenance and periodic testing of existing systems, whilst ensuring that the installation continues to meet legal compliance
- Inspect and replace outdated electrical systems e.g. Lighting, Heating and Mains power supplies
- Assist with installing electrical systems to 18th Edition wiring regulations
What do YOU need?
- Around 3 years of practical Electrical experience
- An excellent working knowledge of IEE Regulations
- A hunger and self-motivation to learn more
- Attained, or working towards a level 3 qualification (2365, or 2382)
- ECS card
- High Standards of workmanship
- A solid work ethic (goes without saying, really)
- An unwavering sense of pride
