Bright Side Recruitment is assisting a rapidly growing, highly regarded, and very successful business in their search for an Installation Engineer with solid experience in plumbing and heating - NO GAS SAFE REQUIRED!
The majority of the work is domestic/residential, along with small commercial projects from time to time. The role is being offered on a full time, permanent basis, Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm (4pm on Fridays). The company covers projects in and around the Greater London area, with the occasional project further afield in the Home Counties.
The main duties will cover:
- Installation and servicing of Air Source Heat Pumps
- Removing existing heating systems
- Upgrading radiators
- Completing pipework runs
- Installation and maintenance of unvented hot water systems
- Installation and maintenance of under floor heating systems
- Fault finding and associated remedial work
Experience and accreditations required:
- At least 4 years of experience gained from within a similar industry
- NVQ level 3 in Plumbing & Heating (or similar)
- L3 certificate in installation & maintenance of heat pumps
- Ability to wire full heat pump system on S & Y plans
- Complete a heat pump installation from start to finish
- A thorough working knowledge and understanding of UK residential water regulations
- Unvented G3 qualification (ideal – not essential)
- Full UK MANUAL driving license (6 points MAX)
- Own tools and testing equipment (Ideally)
