Are you an experienced Glazier who is tired of just fitting windows and doors? There is more to your skillset, right? Bright Side Recruitment Ltd is proud to be assisting one of the Bromley area's most exciting and forward-thinking glazing specialists in their search for an experienced Glazier (a perfectionist) β like you! Working in and around the South East, the successful person will enjoy creating a quality finish to be proud of, on a wide variety of bespoke projects.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Carry out site surveys and produce meaningful survey paperwork for pricing and installation
- Carry out installations of windows, doors, splashbacks and architectural glazing projects
- Quality control of all products being placed onto the vans
- Quality control of all finished products once installed onsite
- Sign off with customers and reporting any issues to management, and take instruction from the office on the best way forward
- Provide adequate paperwork that informs the office of all actions taken and any outstanding works required
- Maintenance and usage of company vehicles to the highest standard of repair and cleanliness (company vehicles kept at offices and are not for personal use)
- Being courteous while representing the company in every way possible, including whilst driving, parking, and on-site, and in domestic properties
- Maintain the highest standards of paperwork at all times
- Promote best practice on health and safety matters
- Protect the property you are working in by using feet coverings and floor protectors etc
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment wherever you are
General Requirements
- Experience of measuring and installing a wide range of bespoke glass and mirror applications
- Must have a full UK driver's license
- Ideally, 3 years minimum experience within the glass & construction industries, and have good product knowledge
- Good knowledge of relevant Building Regulations and Health & Safety
