We are seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join a highly respected M&E company, based in the Bromley area. As an Air Conditioning Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems in various settings. This is an interesting, yet challenging role that requires strong technical skills and problem-solving abilities. The company supports a varied commercial and domestic client base, meaning that no two days are ever the same! This exciting and progressive opportunity is being offered on a full time basis, 8am to 5pm - Monday to Friday. To help ensure a good work / life balance, their Engineers are generally on-site by 8.30am and leave at 4.30pm. The company also operates an emergency call out rota.
Primary Duties:
- Install and commission air conditioning systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on air conditioning units
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with air conditioning systems
- Repair or replace faulty components or parts
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
- Provide excellent customer service and address client inquiries or concerns
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used
The successful applicant should have the following qualifications and experience:
- FGAS & 18th Edition
- Strong knowledge of air conditioning systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings
- Mechanical knowledge and aptitude for equipment repair
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Full UK Driving Licence
