We are looking for a reliable, confident, and engaging on-camera presenter to be the face of our YouTube channel. This role involves presenting news-style and explainer videos on UK and US current affairs, economics, and politics. You\'ll be working with a teleprompter, so your main focus will be delivering the content with clarity, energy, and professionalism - making complex topics easy for viewers to understand.

This is an ongoing freelance role, typically one full-day shoot per week (10:30 AM - 5:30 PM) at our Manchester studio. As the channel grows, there may be opportunities for more frequent shoots and increased involvement in the production process.

Responsibilities:

  • Present news-style and explainer scripts on camera using a teleprompter.
  • Deliver content in a clear, engaging, and professional tone.
  • Work with our production team to ensure smooth filming days.
  • Be flexible with last-minute script updates based on breaking news.

Requirements:

  • Strong on-camera presence and confidence.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Reliable and punctual - consistency is essential.
  • Previous presenting, acting, journalism, or broadcast experience preferred.
