About Bright Software Group

At Bright, we are powering the digital practice of tomorrow – today.

We deliver products that help accountants, payroll bureaus, and businesses across the UK and Ireland work smarter and win more. Our innovative solutions and outstanding customer experiences enable our customers to run their businesses efficiently and serve their customers brilliantly.

We believe understanding is the difference between working and winning.

We're a fast-moving, people-first organisation, and our Executive team is supported by world-class operational excellence.

The Role

We're recruiting an Executive Administrative Assistant to support our senior leadership team. You'll be the operational backbone for our executives, managing complex calendars, coordinating meetings, arranging travel, and handling administrative projects with precision and discretion.

This role suits someone who is organised, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where no two days look the same. You'll need to work independently, think ahead, and handle confidential information with tact and sound judgement.

What You'll Do

Calendar & Meeting Management

  • Manage complex, overlapping calendars for multiple executives; coordinate meetings across time zones and resolve scheduling conflicts
  • Arrange meeting logistics: book venues, organise catering, set up dial-ins, prepare materials, and ensure all participants have necessary information

Travel & Expenses

  • Arrange domestic and international travel; manage accommodation, transport, visa requirements, and expense reports with accuracy and efficiency

Administrative Support & Communication

  • Record and distribute meeting minutes in a timely manner; maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all executive communications
  • Support special projects and company events; research topics, prepare reports, and handle ad hoc requests from senior leaders with initiative and discretion

General Office Support

  • Provide day-to-day general office support and act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • 3+ years' experience in an executive assistant or senior administrative role
  • Experience supporting C-suite or board-level stakeholders
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and calendar management systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to represent the executive team professionally
  • Strong multi-tasking, organisational, and time-management skills; able to manage competing priorities with high attention to detail
  • Tact, discretion, and sound judgement when handling confidential information and complex interpersonal dynamics
  • Open to using AI and automation tools to work more efficiently as part of how you work

Desirable

  • Experience in fast-paced SaaS, technology, or professional services environments
  • Experience working in a PE-backed, scaling, or fast-growth business

Working At Bright

Bright builds software that genuinely makes people's working lives easier. That matters β€” and you'll never have to apologise for what you're selling.

But honestly, the first thing people mention is the culture. It's collaborative, it's human, and we're not a small company anymore, but it still feels like one in the best way. People are genuinely looked after here and that's not just something we say.

You get real autonomy to learn, grow, and make an impact. And right now is a genuinely exciting time to join. We're growing fast, investing heavily in AI, and that creates real opportunity for the business and for the people in it.

It's a place where curious people thrive.
