About the Role
The Nursing Home Manager will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the nursing home, ensuring high standards of care and compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities
- Management of a small/medium sized nursing home
- Line management of Heads of Department
- Reporting into Regional Manager
- Lead on quality and compliance
- Management of recruitment, induction and supervision of care and support team
- Sales, marketing and promotion of the home to local community
- Liaising and working with relevant stakeholders
Qualifications
- Experience as a Registered Manager within a nursing home for older people
- Clinical Qualification desirable but not essential
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management
Required Skills
- Experienced in quality management systems
- Proven track record in managing good rated care homes
- Excellent communication skills including IT literacy
Pay range and compensation package
- Salary £67,000-70,000 depending on experience
