The successful candidate will provide clear and supportive leadership, maintain strong regulatory standards and build trusted relationships with customers, families, healthcare professionals and community partners.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing branch team.
- Ensure customers receive safe, consistent and person-centred care.
- Maintain full regulatory compliance and drive continuous improvement.
- Oversee the delivery of visiting, respite and live-in care services.
- Build relationships with local authorities, healthcare professionals, GPs and referral partners.
- Support branch growth through community engagement and business development.
- Monitor budgets, KPIs and overall branch performance.
- Identify opportunities to improve service delivery, efficiency and profitability.
- Work closely with operational, quality, HR, finance and marketing teams.
- Share best practice and support a culture of quality across the wider region.
About you
- Previous management experience within care or a related sector.
- A genuine passion for delivering high-quality care.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop others.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Good commercial awareness, including experience managing budgets and KPIs.
- A sound understanding of regulatory requirements and quality frameworks.
- Strong organisational skills and the resilience to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Confident using systems, technology and performance data.
- Flexible, adaptable and focused on achieving positive outcomes.
Desirable
- Previous management experience within domiciliary care.
- Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management for Care, or a willingness to work towards it.
- Good knowledge of CQC or CIW regulatory standards.
