Exciting opportunity to support the managerial team within a luxury nursing home for older people. Bright Selection are delighted to again be working with a valued client who are looking to appoint a new Deputy Home Manager for a purpose-built, luxury care centre in the Newport area.
Supporting a dedicated and highly skilled workforce, you will support the Home Manager in the day-to-day operational management of the service ensuring professional and high-quality care for elderly residents. The home is established in the local area and has gained an excellent reputation for its state-of-the-art facilities. The home is committed to providing a high level of care to an elderly client group with diverse care and nursing needs.
Requirements- Managerial/supervisory experience within an elderly nursing home
- Nurse qualification with valid NMC Pin
- An interest in dementia care; further qualifications/training in dementia care would be advantageous
- Experience in supporting large care and nursing teams
- Provide the highest standards of care and exceeding residents' expectations and needs
- Basic understanding of budgets and working efficiently
- Be actively involved in training and teaching
- Have good HR knowledge
The role will involve 2 x clinical shifts per week, along with 3 x days supernumerary.
