An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Home Manager to take over a very successful care home near Broadstairs in Kent. The home has been open for around 18 months and is receiving exceptional 5-star feedback.
The successful candidate will take over from the commissioning manager, who is moving on for promotion. You will be supported by a values-driven senior team with strong experience in premium care settings. We're seeking a leader with a passion for person-centred care, exceptional standards, and the ability to inspire a dedicated team. This is an ideal moment for a new Home Manager to step in and continue leading the home to success.
You will be required to:
- Provide inspirational leadership to ensure exceptional, person-centred care and an outstanding resident experience.
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the home, maintaining the highest standards of safety, wellbeing, hospitality, and regulatory compliance.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a positive culture built on dignity, respect, and exceptional service.
- Manage budgets, occupancy, and commercial performance to ensure the home's long-term sustainability and success.
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, and the local community, promoting the home's premium reputation and values.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have proven experience managing residential and/or dementia care services.
- Have private care market experience.
- Demonstrate strong leadership and team development skills.
- Have the ability to control and manage budgets and accounts.
- Have knowledge of the principles of sales and marketing.
- Share a passion for innovative, sustainable and person-centred care.
- Be motivated by the opportunity to shape a high-performing care home.
Salary and contract:
- Salary £65,000pa - £75,000pa DOE
- Performance-based bonus
- 40hrs a week Monday - Friday 0900 - 1700, flexible working essential
