Bright Selection is recruiting for an experienced Home Manager to manage a purpose built nursing and residential home specialising in dementia care in the Blackburn area. A great opportunity for an experienced and caring home manager to join a values based care provider in a well performing home. Our client is seeking an experienced manager who is motivated by achieving the very highest standards of care for older people.
Requirements:
- General management experience coupled with a passion for elderly care
- Knowledge of CQC legislation and guidelines
- Experience of leading, supporting and developing care teams
- Strong planning and organisational skills that deliver high quality care outcomes
- Budget management experience
- Experienced in leading teams in delivering personalised dementia care
- Creative, caring, innovative and passionate about high quality care
Responsibilities include:
- Registered Manager CQC Registration
- Reporting to Directors
- Regular audit to ensure the home is fully compliant and operating well and that there is a consistent delivery of person-centred care to every resident
- Leadership and management of all recruitment, supervision and professional development for all roles within the home
- Ensure effective communication with residents, relatives, staff and other healthcare professionals
- Budget management working to financial KPIs to achieve growth and commercial success
Contract, Remuneration and benefits:
- £70,000
- 40hrs per week
- Annual leave 25 days plus bank holidays
