Bright Selection is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a regional care provider for a Unit Manager to be part of a successful team within a beautiful purpose-built care home in Hertfordshire. Working closely with the Home Manager and Deputy Manager, you will contribute to the management and leadership of the home, while maintaining a level of hands-on care and support to residents.
As a Unit Manager, your commitment to maintaining the highest standards of care will be crucial in ensuring residents' well-being and satisfaction. Your responsibilities will encompass various aspects of the home's functioning, including overseeing staffing levels, implementing staff training, and actively participating in direct care activities.
Our client is seeking an individual with a strong passion for caring for older people and for those with dementia care and some supervisory experience. This role is an excellent opportunity to develop your leadership career.
Responsibilities will include:
- Assist the Home Manager and Deputy Manager in the day to running of the home.
- Be responsible for team supervision.
- Actively contributing to team training programs.
- Maintaining a well-organised medication system, including ordering, recording, administration, and disposal.
- Hands on care delivery.
Requirements:
- Minimum of NVQ L3 in Health and Social Care.
- Experience in dementia care.
Salary: £33,000pa | 40hrs per week.
