We are recruiting for a newly created Group Head of Hospitality position on behalf of a well-established, family-run care provider based in Hertfordshire, operating a portfolio of high-quality nursing and care homes across the region. The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role. This is a senior, regional appointment created to strengthen and align hospitality standards across the group, ensuring a consistent, high-quality experience for residents and families while respecting the individuality of each home.
The Role
Reporting into the senior leadership team, this role will operate at a regional support level, working closely with Home Managers and hospitality teams across multiple services. The focus is on raising standards, embedding consistency and sharing best practice across hospitality, housekeeping, dining and front-of-house functions. This is a hands-on, operational role, with the expectation that you are based within the homes rather than working remotely, supporting teams on the ground and leading by example.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and embed consistent hospitality standards across multiple care homes

The Ideal Candidate

- Comfortable working in a regional, site-based role
- Practical, people-focused leader who leads through influence rather than hierarchy
- Experience within care, retirement living or healthcare settings is advantageous but not essential
