An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Clinical Deputy Manager to join a luxury purpose-built care home in Hertfordshire. In this role, you will work closely with the Home Manager to provide hands-on clinical and operational leadership, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care. You will support the nursing and care teams, maintain regulatory compliance, and help embed best practice and strong leadership across the service. Deputising for the Home Manager during periods of absence will also form a key part of the role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the day-to-day operational and clinical management of the care home.
  • Lead, supervise and mentor nursing and care staff, providing clinical expertise and guidance.
  • Ensure care planning is robust, person-centred and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain high standards of clinical governance, including audits, medication management and action plans.
  • Support recruitment, training and development of the care team.
  • Promote best clinical practice, safeguarding and health & safety compliance.
  • Build positive relationships with residents, families and external healthcare professionals.
  • Provide management cover in the absence of the Home Manager to ensure continuity of care.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Registered General Nurse with a current NMC PIN.
  • Strong knowledge of CQC standards, safeguarding and clinical governance.
  • Confident, organised and proactive leader with excellent communication skills.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and motivate teams effectively.
  • Passionate about delivering outstanding care and making a positive difference.
Package & Benefits
