Sales & Marketing Assistant required for a well-established nursing home and retirement living community.
A new and exciting opportunity has arisen to join a well-established provider offering skilled nursing care and retirement living in West London.
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Assistant to support enquiries and manage the customer journey from enquiry to admission. Working closely with the Head of Sales, you'll play a vital role in promoting both the nursing home and a nearby retirement living community offering hotel-style independent living.
This newly created role supports the sales function and would suit someone with experience in elderly care, administration, and customer service who is looking to step into a more commercially focused position within the care sector.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the enquiry database - ensuring it's kept up to date and all leads are followed up
- Handle incoming enquiries via phone, email, and in person
- Support customers and their families throughout their journey from enquiry to move-in
- Liaise with internal care and nursing teams to ensure a smooth and supportive process
- Assist with sales activity for retirement living apartments, including both rentals and sales
- Maintain accurate records and follow up on all leads from various sources
- Represent the service professionally at all times, maintaining a high standard of personal presentation
Requirements:
- Experience working in a care environment (e.g. senior care assistant, receptionist, or administrator)
- Confident, well-presented, and able to build rapport with older people and their families
- Comfortable working in a nursing home setting with residents who have high care needs
- Organised, administratively skilled, and able to manage multiple enquiries efficiently
- A genuine interest in care and supporting people through the admissions process
- Willing to be trained and shadow the Head of Sales to develop full knowledge of the sales cycle
Remuneration and Benefits:
Salary £26,000 - £30,000 depending on experience + Bonus up to £5,000
Based onsite | Full-time, Permanent | Monday to Friday | 9:00-17:30
