Bright Selection are delighted to represent a charity run care provider in their appointment of a Home Manager for a medium size nursing and residential care home in Tranent, Scotland Our client is vastly experienced in providing high quality care for older people within care homes and care at home. They are committed to delivering the very best nursing, dementia and specialist care and have achieved a number of awards for quality and best practice. They require an experienced Home Manager to join them in their journey to achieving Excellent. The home is well supported both financially and by an experienced Senior Management team, and specialises in providing high quality residential and nursing care. Responsibilities Registered Manager and full management responsibility for the home Leading a care team to achieve high standards of care Management and development of high quality personalised dementia care Staff supervision and appraisals Ensuring the home is legally compliant Requirements NVQ Level 5 in Management and Leadership and a Registered Manager Award (or equivalent) Leadership and management experience in a care home for older people A true passion for delivering dementia care preferably with a recognised qualification in dementia Comprehensive knowledge of Care Inspectorate standards with a proven track record in achieving Good or above ratings IT skills and knowledge Strong commercial knowledge with ability to achieve financial KPI Remuneration/Benefits £60,000 – £65,000pa (NEG/DOE) + Bonus + Benefits 33 days annual leave inc bank holidays For more information please contact Chloe at Bright selection Bright Selection advertises roles on behalf of our clients.
